Ana Quiring is a writer, faculty developer, and teacher based in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her PhD in English literature and Women’s Studies at Washington University in St. Louis in 2022. She currently works as the Learning Innovation Specialist in the Center for Teaching and Learning at University of Missouri—St. Louis. She has taught literature and writing to students at WashU, St. Louis Community College, and two state prisons. Her scholarly research has appeared in Digital Humanities Quarterly, Feminist Modernist Studies , Women's Studies Quarterly, and elsewhere. Her essays have appeared in The Los Angeles Review of Books, Avidly, The Millions, Full Stop, and elsewhere. She reads, writes, and analyzes romance novels. She talks fast and knits slowly.
